Poverty is Complex
No one chooses to live in poverty. For Guilford County’s disadvantaged individuals, breaking the cycle of poverty requires more than just hope. It demands access to employment training, supportive services, and opportunities for self-sufficiency. Too often, poverty is deeply connected to poor health, unequal treatment in the justice system, unstable housing, and limited access to education and sustainable employment. WRLP's mission is to break this cycle for the low-income disadvantaged individuals in our community.
